Ekart

I have tried several go kart places back in my country, but i can say that this place by far the most advanced one. I am a car guy so i can say that before coming here, i didnt really have high hopes because i like combustion engines. I like the sound and the vibration. However, my whole opinion on electric karting changed. First of all cars were so good. They were advanced, they had really good brakes (most of the places ive been didnt really have good brakes) and the acceleration is insane. Also the track surface is really good. Everything is well maintained. They have a really good system. You get a balaclava, gloves, a ls2 helmet (which is pretty good and enough for karting). Also, everything is timed well and there are info about the car you are assigned to, the fastest lap and everything. There are screens everywhere which contains info about the session. Another pro of ekart was the fact that there was no smoke, no sound, just you and the track, it was blissful. Only bad thing that i can say about this place is the fact that the track is a bit too short. One of the shortest ive ever been to. Was a little boring after a while. It could be a bit nicer if we had a longer straight to do higher speed. However considering that ekarts are better for accelerating, it makes sense that its this way. Staff was nice. I was late, they said that i should be on time next time. I told them the situation i had on the way and we had a little chat. Cool staff. Was a bit expensive imo however it was fun. Would come here again.

The general system is quite nice however I did have an issue with a very simple matter. I'm by no means average. That means that I'm slightly taller and have way more hair than most. When I was cashing in my ticket, I asked if my hair would fit in the helmet: "Yeah you're just an xl!" Once I reached the track, I put the helmet on but after a couple of minutes, I couldn't breathe. I tried taking it off but no avail and asked for help. Instead of doing a track, I sat it out. I would have somehow expected the staff to ask if I was ok or maybe propose a refund (or maybe a drink) but nothing. I let my friends do their laps... Oh yeah interesting bit, a staff member asked me to wipe the make-up off the helmet... So in short, the technology is there but if you are not an average sized person, forget this place. The staff is correct but don't expect any customer service.

Went karting with friends and kids. Everyone was 100% satisfied with the experience. Nice circuit, karts and friendly peaople. They were really nice with the kids too and helped the youngest to overcome his initial fear as he was a bit scared! Great! E-karts surpassed alle expectations we had on them. They were fast and responsive just like the fuelled counterpart but with better low end torque: NICE!
